across the vast blue calm
a rustling flash of scarlet
slithering through willowy greens
the foreboding cumulonimbus swirl
the sudden harrowing squeal
and then
slow delicate tendrils of silence seeping

dream of me. and i, you. that is where we meet. where we've always met. remember. try to remember. hold on tho this. and you will never lose me. we'll always find each other. here. know in your heart that i am here. where you found me. where the stars took us to sea. when you think it unbearable. this distance. the vastness of the chasm that separates us. the loneliness. the cold strange empty hotel room. i will be here dreaming. holding you. soothing you. til the fears. the ghosts. and the darkness recede.
